JAG Nevada graduates every student, career and job ready!

Olga Garcia of Reed HS Wins First Place in National JAG Competition!

JAG Reed High School Class of 2017

Olga is currently a senior in the JAG program at Reed High School. During the JAG National Student Leadership Academy, Olga won first place in the Employability Skills competition prevailing over students from thirty-two other states across the nation. She serves as the school’s Student Body President and was recently elected as the Senior Vice President for the Career Association. Olga has expanded her network at Reed by getting involved in JAG. She has improved her communication and leadership skills and has continued working with a diverse group. Olga and her fellow officers are currently planning a leadership development conference for the JAG students in their community. She hopes to continue getting more involved with JAG through events and projects.

The JAG Multi-Year Program is a highly effective, data-driven model that raises graduation rates and prepares participants by honing their work readiness skills. JAG students graduate at higher rates than their peers and are exceptionally prepared with a tool box of workplace skills that lead to success at work, in post-secondary education and/or the military.

Jobs for Nevada’s Graduates Inc. (aka JAG Nevada) is a private Nevada nonprofit formed at the request of the Nevada Governor’s Office to serve as the home base for the Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) program in Nevada.
