Pat Skorkowsky named JAG Superintendent of the Year

Jobs for America’s Graduates named Pat Skorkowsky Superintendent of the Year during its Annual Meeting and National Student Leadership Academy in Washington DC on December 4, 2015.  Pat was honored for the exemplary leadership he has demonstrated in support of students, and his central role in creating the partnership needed for the success of JAG Nevada in Clark County.  With over 700 students at 19 high schools in Clark County now in JAG Nevada, Pat has helped lead the way to connect students with the workforce opportunities they need to graduate and succeed.

The JAG Multi-Year Program is a highly effective, data-driven model that raises graduation rates and prepares participants by honing their work readiness skills. JAG students graduate at higher rates than their peers and are exceptionally prepared with a tool box of workplace skills that lead to success at work, in post-secondary education and/or the military.

Jobs for Nevada’s Graduates Inc. (aka JAG Nevada) is a private Nevada nonprofit formed at the request of the Nevada Governor’s Office to serve as the home base for the Jobs for America’s Graduates (JAG) program in Nevada.
