A Sydney Prize is an award that honors those working hard to better the world. Kate Carrie Sydney Prize for History is an annual award that recognizes the best non-fiction book in Australian history, selected by an editorial panel including historians from University of Melbourne. Previous winners have included Tim Flannery (author of book about Australian cricket) and Malcolm Fraser biographer who both received this honour in late October each year.
